The Fairfield School District says it has launched an investigation after explicit material was shown during a presentation at the district's opening convocation for staff Thursday.

They say the material appeared as keynote speaker Dr. Derrick Gay was addressing the staff. Gay advertises himself as a "a diversity and inclusion strategist who consults with organizations."

The district added it will no longer work with Gay pending the results of the investigation.
