Fairfield police say a suspect wanted on several warrants is back in custody after he escaped from bail agents. Police say bail agents were trying to apprehend Jevon Pegues at Jennings Beach Thursday

Fairfield police say a suspect wanted on several warrants is back in custody after he escaped from bail agents.
Police say bail agents were trying to apprehend Jevon Pegues at Jennings Beach Thursday night.
They say he lost his shoes and shirt in a scuffle, but managed to run off.
Police say Pegues' girlfriend apparently picked him up and drove him to Danbury where officers caught him this morning.
