The stags are back!
After 18 games on the road or at neutral sites to begin the season, Bill Currier's team returned to the friendly confines of Alumni Diamond, mashing Siena in the process 11-0.
Fairfield's Matt Bergevin started the scoring in the bottom of the first when he ripped an RBI double, bringing home Mike Becchetti.
The stags would go on to score 10 more runs in the final five innings of the game.
Pitcher Jake Noviello tossed a complete game two-hit shutout to lead Fairfield to a 1-0 record in MAAC play.
The stags will return to the diamond Sunday when they'll run it back with the Saints for a doubleheader in Fairfield.
