Fairfield voters headed to the polls today to choose who will lead the town over the next four years.
The race for first selectman pits incumbent Democrat Michael Tetreau against Republican challenger Chris Tymniak.
A top concern for many voters is whether General Electric will keep its headquarters in town or leave to avoid state tax increases.
Both candidates tell News 12 that they are confident they will win.
If you haven't registered to vote in Fairfield, you can do so on the first floor conference room of Sullivan Independence Hall on the Post Road.
