The Fairfield women's basketball team is off to the NCAA tournament.

The Connecticut team is headed to Indiana.

The Stags will play the Hoosiers in Saturday's first round.

Carly Thibault-DuDonis, the head coach of the Fairfield women’s basketball, says the team is ready to go.

“It's the first time in a long time that we've been able to be the chasers instead of the chase and have a little bit of a chip on our shoulder,” DuDonis said.

Saturday afternoon's game is at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN-2.
