A church in Bridgeport suffered damage to its roof today after an accident involving a tractor-trailer and power lines.
It happened at Universal Church on North Avenue after 1 p.m.
A truck reportedly took down the power lines and caused a short circuit, which burned the lines all the way to Lindley Street.
Crews from United Illuminating were on scene fixing the wires.
