The family of a missing 11-year-old Stamford girl says she has been found safe.
Jenifer Urquia had last been seen by her babysitter around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at home on Ludlow Street. Police say Urquia told the babysitter she was going to the store down the street on the corner of Ludlow and Pacific, but she never returned.
Stamford Police Sgt. Joseph Kennedy said police believed she was picked up by a car on Ludlow Street.
Details on where she was found have not been released yet.
