Family members of an 18-year-old basketball player are making funeral arrangements after the young man?s untimely death.

Andre Davidson, who would have turned 19 next month, collapsed and died Saturday while playing basketball at Saint Mary's Recreation Center. His relatives are being told that the recent graduate from John F. Kennedy High School had a blood clot in his brain that may have caused his death. Neighbors are suggesting that the hot weather in the gym may have also been a factor.

Andre would have attended Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica in the fall and played basketball for the school.
