Family of beloved late Bridgeport teacher makes special donation to school

The family of a popular Bridgeport teacher who died last year made a special donation Wednesday to the school where she worked.
Elena Kroupnik, 47, was a speech language pathologist at the A.B. Skane School on Madison Avenue.
Her husband Alex Meyerovich says she spent about $10,000 of her own money to buy specialized language equipment to help students with special needs.
Meyerovich says it was one of her last wishes to have him donate the equipment to the school so it could help kids for years to come.
Kroupnik died after battling a long illness. Her husband says he hopes this donation will help to keep her legacy alive.
