A federal investigation covering Connecticut, New York and New Jersey leads police to a New Haven woman.
According to the FBI, Swahilys Pedraza-Rodriguez and her alleged accomplice, Melisa Aquino Arias, dressed up as nuns when they carried out the crime spree.
The pair allegedly hit banks in the Pocono Mountains and North Jersey.
They allegedly used a stolen credit card last week at the Macy's in Danbury.
Both were in a federal court in New Jersey Tuesday, where they were charged.
