One of Bridgeport’s most popular festivals returned
Friday at the St. Margaret Shrine Parish.
The Feast of Saint Anthony has been called the
hidden gem of Bridgeport for years and that's because of its large variety of
Italian food.
This is the first year back since the
pandemic hit in 2020.
Saint Anthony's Feast brings out thousands of
people, with an average of about 10,000 people.
Aside from the enormous selection of Italian
food, like the famous pizza fritta, there are several rides and games.
Organizers say they're excited to welcome
everyone back.
The festival will continue throughout the entire
weekend.
