September is National Preparedness Month.

Federal, state and local agencies came together today in Fairfield to make sure they're as prepared as possible when responding to hazmat emergencies.

News 12's Lauren Fabrizi was at the Fairfield Regional Fire School with a look at the training session.

First responders also want residents to make sure Connecticut residents are prepared for all kinds of disasters and emergencies. They shared some tips - watch the video below:
