There is new help on the way for those who have lost loved ones to COVID-19.
The federal government is launching a massive new funeral assistance program.
FEMA will help families of victims cover burial costs by reimbursing Americans up to $9,000 per funeral.
Families who lost more than one loved one can receive up to $35,000.
Applications for the service open Monday. The death must have occurred in the United States in order to be eligible.
