11h agoAt least 8 people are without a home following a fire in Norwalk on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said it happened in an illegal apartment in a basement of a house on Godfrey Street.
The fire which left smoke damage to the upper floors was contained to the basement.
No one was injured and everyone inside got out safely.
The Red Cross was called to assist those who were impacted by the fire.
