Firefighters in Stamford say an air handling unit may be responsible for causing a fire.
It broke out yesterday on West Trail.
Officials say someone called 911 after smelling and seeing smoke coming from the attic.
Firefighters say they were able to put out the flames and even saved the family's pet hamsters.
