Bridgeport firefighters are investigating the cause of a blaze at a vacant building last night.
It started around 11 p.m. on Reservoir Avenue.
An assistant fire chief says there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the building when they arrived. Part of the building collapsed.
Officials say a furnace and copper pipes were taken from the home. They are looking into the possibility a blowtorch used by the vandals started the fire.
