15h agoA Bridgeport woman was hospitalized following a fire that caused major damage to her home.
It happened at a multifamily home on Broad Street around 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Fire officials say one woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but is expected to be OK.
The Red Cross was called in to find housing for the people living on the side of the building damaged by fire.
