FORECAST
Today will be noticeably cooler with lighter winds and highs in the low 60s. We're forecasting a low of 41 degrees tonight in Bridgeport, which would be the first time the temperature has dipped into the 40s since April 6. Frosty conditions are expected across parts of the region, where temperatures could drop to the 30s. Frost could harm or kill sensitive outdoor plants if left uncovered.

Tranquil weather conditions will prevail through the weekend. Thursday will be the warmest day this week with highs in the mid to upper 70s with ample amount of sunshine.
We're watching a tropical disturbance in the Gulf that has a chance of developing into a Tropical Depression over the next couple of days. The track of this storm will determine if the remnants of what will be called Isaias will bring tropical moisture to the region Sunday night into Monday. It's still too early to determine the exact track, timing and potential impacts. Stick your News 12 team of meteorologists for updates.
