Fire officials say no one was injured after nine people were rescued from a sinking boat near Sand Island on Candlewood Lake Saturday night.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Firefighters from Danbury and Brookfield launched their marine units and assisted the Candlewood Lake Authority.
Brookfield firefighters transported all occupants safely onto their boat.
Danbury firefighters and the authority breached the boat and retrieved a disabled jet ski.
