Three months after a deadly house fire claimed the life of a child, Redding fire officials say they cannot determine what caused it because of the extent of the damage.
The fire happened on Diamond Hill Road on Feb. 14.
Fire officials say a 10-year-old and her parents jumped out of windows to escape the flames.
When putting out the flames, firefighters found and removed a 12-year-old boy inside, but he died at the hospital.
Although the exact cause is unknown, fire officials say the fire started in the mudroom on the first floor. No criminal intent is suspected.
