A Milford firefighter is being called a hero after saving a baby at a carnival.
Officials say Capt. Nicholas Holinko was at the event on Friday when a mother approached him carrying her limp, 10-month-old child who had swallowed a penny.
They say Holinko realized the infant was not breathing and immediately performed CPR to get the child to cough up the coin.
Officials say the baby is fine and will make a full recovery.
