Even as the first major winter snowstorm of the season came down on Connecticut, commuters say roadways were not difficult to travel.
The main roads never got too bad, but people say they were definitely playing it safe earlier in the morning.
A few drivers and truckers say they waited a little longer than they would have to hit the road just to make sure they missed the worst of the snow.
The main challenge commuters say actually had nothing to do with their trucks or the roads but instead the other people out on the road who were unsure how to drive in the conditions.
