A dramatic rescue unfolded Wednesday off the coast of Milford when fishermen saved a man clinging to a capsized boat.
The victim had been in the water since 3 a.m. before being spotted by the fishermen, who were heading out to sea south of Charles Island.
The man was taken aboard and brought to shore, where he was rushed to the hospital.
The Milford Fire Department warned boaters of colder water temperatures and severe conditions with the changing seasons.
