Flames tore through three homes in Milford Saturday afternoon.
Officials say the fire started just before 1:30 p.m. in a home at 74 Melba St. Firefighters say that heavy winds caused the flames to spread to two neighboring houses. A dumpster five houses away also caught fire.
Crews from West Haven and Stratford provided the Milford Fire Department with mutual aid.
No injuries were reported.
The house at 74 Melba St. was torn down Sunday. The house to the right sustained fire damage and its windows were boarded up. The house to the left suffered serious damage to its roof.
Officials are working to determine what caused the fire.
