The state is expanding its program that helps small businesses recover from the recent historic flooding.
Officials announced the opening of a new recovery center in Monroe Tuesday afternoon where people and businesses can get help.
“Small businesses might not understand all of their economic impact through the storm,” says the Small Business Administration’s Catherine Marx. “It’s important for them to start the process, get the information and come in to apply.”
The recovery center is located at the Monroe Police Department.
The town of Oxford also opened a recovery center at Oxford Town Hall.
