It was a rough start Friday for many residents as heavy rain caused flooding and power outages across southwestern Connecticut.
Westport residents who use Pumpkin Hill and Colony roads to get to work had to battle their way through floods. Some residents actually drove up on the grass to get around flooded areas, which made those who live along that stretch of road unhappy.
In addition to flooding, dozens of Greenwich and Stamford residents were left in the dark due to the storm.
