Bridgeport Mayor Ganim and city officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Food Bazaar supermarket on Fairfield Avenue.

The store, located in the former Stop & Shop location, boasts:

• Fresh produce, seafood, and meat departments

• Full-service options

• Sit-down café

• Bakery

• Hot food bar

According to Edward Suh, executive vice president of Food Bazaar, "Our produce, seafood, and meat departments are full-service and offer the freshest options, focusing on value and high quality."
