The Medical Examiner's Office says the cause of 66-year-old Dale
LaPrade's death was cardiovascular disease.
As News 12 previously reported, police say LaPrade allowed hundreds of headstones to be removed from the historic cemetery so that the graves could be used again.
The move left many families never knowing where their loved ones are buried.
