A former Bronx music teacher has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a special education student.A New York Post report says 23-year-old Emily Streb was involved last fall with a 16-year-old student from P.S. 12. Authorities say the relationship was first suspected by school officials late last year and was reported to the school's special investigator. At first, the boy reportedly denied the relationship.Officials say the pair had sex numerous times at both the teacher's and student's homes. The teen has been placed in the custody of ACS since prosecutors claimed the boy's mother was not home when the two were allegedly having sex there. Streb was reassigned to desk duty before she resigned last month. Her attorney claims that the boy is now sending her threatening messages. The former music teacher is being charged with third-degree rape. A judge released her without setting bail, but has barred her from having any contact with the teen.
