A federal judge has agreed to postpone the sentencing of former Gov. John Rowland until January.
Rowland was convicted last week of trying to hide work on two Republican congressional campaigns through phony business deals.
Rowland's lawyer asked to push back the sentencing so Rowland could spend the holidays with his family.
Rowland previously spent time in prison for corruption.
