A retired NBA player is teaching kids in Bridgeport how to lead successful lives.
Former player Walter Luckett -- who is from western Connecticut -- is teaching kids how to be leaders in their families, schools and communities.
Luckett and his Youth Prevention Services Program are being honored by Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Mayor Joe Ganim, who are speaking to young people about the common-sense virtues of getting along with others, showing respect for yourself and being a team player.
