Sewanhaka Central School District Spanish teacher Denise Cruz just had her dream come true: opening her own store on wheels.

Denise Cruz, of North Bellmore, says she takes pride in being a Latina who is able to share her passion for language, culture and reading.

When her tent blew away during a fair over the summer, she knew she had to find another solution and created The Wandering Page pop-up mobile book shop.

The Wandering Page carries books for people of all ages and backgrounds. For Hispanic Heritage Month, she’s showcasing Hispanic authors from around the world.

You can find The Wandering Page on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Moonlight Market on The Suffolk County Farm from 4 p.m. until midnight and on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Buzz’d Express Coffee in North Bellmore from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
