Friends of a Stratford business owner are outraged after learning he was the victim of a home invasion over the weekend.
Ed Dillon, the owner of Edward J. Dillon & Sons Floral Shop, says an armed man knocked on his door, pointed a gun at him and took off with cash at around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Police say that the robber took off with cash and left Dillon tied up on the floor.
Dillon's co-workers and friends believe the robber knew him.
The robber is described as being about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a husky build. They say he was wearing a disguise consisting of a beard and mustache.
Anyone with information is asked to immediately call police
