Stamford firefighters are mourning the loss of one of their own who died on Saturday.
Officials say Richard Saunders, 52, passed away from complications of job-related cancer.
They say the 30-year veteran of the Stamford Fire Department spent most of that time assigned to the South End Station.
A wake and funeral are being held tomorrow and Friday in East Hampton.
