Fire officials are trying to determine the cause of a garage fire that destroyed three vehicles and a golf cart.
Norwalk Fire Inspector Kirk McDonald says the fire started around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at a garage closest to the house on Point Road near Wilson's Point.
When fire crews arrived, the detached three-car garage was fully engulfed and part of the second-floor had collapsed.
McDonald says it was a difficult fire to fight because the garage was large and there were flammable items inside. He says no one was hurt, and the home was not damaged.
Fire crews returned to the garage Wednesday afternoon to contain some hot spots.
