Drivers in Orange say a rare sight shocked them Thursday - gas selling for about $2 a gallon.
At the Thornton's Gas Station on Boston Post Road, the price for a gallon of gas hit $1.99, the lowest price this year in southwestern Connecticut.
The price for a gallon of gas has been dropping since Labor Day, when it cost about $3.80 a gallon to fill up. Experts say gas prices are expected to continue dropping in the near future.
