Gas prices went down again overnight in Connecticut, and drivers are overjoyed.
Due to the decrease in gas prices, drivers across the state are now paying a $1.20 less per gallon compared to this time last year. In Bridgeport, the average gas prices are between $2.19 and $2.27. In Westport, the average gas price is $2.43 and it's $2.55 in Norwalk.
The lowest price News 12 Connecticut found was $1.99 a gallon at a gas station in Middletown.
For those filling up with diesel, the cheapest price News 12 found was $3.09 at the Exxon gas station on Westport Avenue near Willard Road in Norwalk.
