GetAbout, a nonprofit organization that provides transportation services to residents of New Canaan, is making it easier for people to get around town.

News 12 Connecticut's Mark Sudol spoke with GetAbout officials about the organization's growth. Founded in 1980 with a single used van, GetAbout has expanded to a fleet of seven fully accessible vans on the road every weekday. The organization provided more than 8,000 rides last year.

GetAbout receives funding from local businesses, hospitals, churches, and government organizations, in addition to individual contributions.
