Gov. Ned Lamont announced Monday that 32 cases of COVID-19 have been reported at schools in the state, which is a lower infection rate than the general population.
He also says the CIAC will make its own decision whether to play football, but the state is urging them to wait.
Lamont also says those coming into Connecticut from states with high infection rates will now have the option to prove they've had a negative COVID-19 test result.
He also says people who violate orders about wearing masks, organizing oversized events or even attending one could be fined up to $500.
