Gov. Ned Lamont was on the state Capitol steps Friday to announce guidelines for the reopening of houses of worship.
He said they can reopen at 25% capacity or 100 people – whichever comes first.
According to the governor, outside services are allowed to have 150 people in attendance.

Some faith leaders joined Gov. Lamont at the podium, however Rev. Carl McCluster, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Bridgeport, says others should have been included.
He says a one-size-fits-all mentality to opening up churches is the wrong move and violates people’s right to assembly.
“Don't give me Kibbles and Bits and say you're feeding me," he told News 12.
OTHER BRIEFING ITEMS:
Lamont says some casinos will also reopen tomorrow but a Mohegan Sun spokesperson says the opening on Saturday and Sunday will be for select guests only and is private.
The Mohegan Sun spokesperson says the casino will be open to the public on June 1.
"I felt we should have pushed the date off a bit, but we found some common ground with the casinos," Lamont says.
Mohegan Casinos will be open to all customers on June 1, but only some resorts and hotel rooms attached to casinos will be exclusively available for Connecticut residents.
Lamont also announced new rules on gatherings in Connecticut where 10 people will be allowed inside, and only 25 people outside.
