Gov. Ned Lamont signed legislation Wednesday enacting the state budget for 2020 and 2021.
Lamont officials say the budget closes the $3.7 billion deficit Lamont inherited without any tax rate increases. Lamont called it a step toward a stable fiscal future in Connecticut.
Opponents disagree with Lamont's positive feelings on the budget, saying it has holes.
Lamont posted a video to his Twitter feed of him signing the budget Wednesday afternoon.
