Gov. Lamont, team detail reopening guidelines for people, businesses on May 20
Businesses that are allowed to reopen on May 20 do not have to reopen if the owners do not feel comfortable.

BRIEFING UPDATES:
- 32,411 people tested positive (+627)
- 2,874 people have died (+77)
- 1,336 patients are currently hospitalized (-49)

-Nail salons will not be allowed to open on May 20. A new date will be selected in the coming weeks.
-Businesses that are allowed to reopen on May 20 do not have to reopen if the owners do not feel comfortable.
-Social guidelines for May 20 include: face masks or covering must be worn at all times in public; gathering size is limited to five people; residents 65+ or with high risk factors are encouraged to stay home.
-Anyone who can continue to work from home should continue.
-Restaurants will only be able to be filled at 50% capacity; tables must be placed 6 feet apart and outdoor dining only; bar areas will remain closed.
