Gov. Dannel Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman were in Westport today to host the state's annual 9/11 memorial ceremony at Sherwood Island State Park.
Relatives and friends gathered to honor the 161 victims with ties to Connecticut who died in the 2001 Sept. 11 attacks at the World Trade Center.
The names of those victims were read aloud.
