FORECAST:
This morning will be cloudy, cool with a slight chance of a rain or snow shower. A weak storm system will be passing off to our south this morning, and western Connecticut is just on the outer cusp of the moisture shield.
A few light rain and or snow showers may linger through mid-morning.
Totals would range from a trace of rain to under 1/10th of an inch. Any snow that does fall most likely won't stick and the outside chance it does, it will be colder surfaces.
It will be tough to see much moisture fall north of the Merritt Parkway. Most areas just seeing clouds and temperatures just above freezing.
There is a dome of high pressure and drier air to the north, and this will eat away at some of the northern fringe of this moisture shield.
Gradual clearing will take place during the day and the sun will return briefly.
There is a better chance of seeing rain Friday and early Saturday.
Temperatures will warm back up with 50s for the end of the week and into next week.
