Greenwich fire officials are investigating what caused an apartment fire this morning on River Road. Firefighters were called to the scene around 1:15 a.m. after a report of a person screaming for help.

Greenwich fire officials are investigating what caused an apartment fire this morning on River Road.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 1:15 a.m. after a report of a person screaming for help.
Officials say the fire was quickly extinguished.
They say the top floor of the apartment building was significantly damaged by the blaze.
No injuries have been reported.
