The Greenwich chapter of the Red Cross is urging people to donate blood. The organization says it has several drives coming up and many empty spaces on its sign up list. One of those drives is scheduled for Monday at Temple Shalom. Brook Urban, executive director of the Greenwich chapter, says usually 80 or 90 appointments are scheduled, but as of Wednesday there are still 40 or 50 openings. Greenwich Hospital will also be holding a blood drive on Monday. Related info 1-800-GIVE-LIFE 203-869-8444
