The rain Wednesday didn't stop the Greenwich Historical Society from launching this season's farmers market.
The Tavern Garden Market sells fruit, bread, sweat treats, honey and more.
Shopping is only one way the Greenwich Historical Society showcases agriculture.
"We are doing a lot of new programming outside. I think especially this spring we want to enjoy the outdoors," said Maggie Dimock.
The market will be held every other Wednesday through November.
