Students in Greenwich are helping animals in need this holiday season.
North Mianus School students say they set up a giving tree for a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping pets out of shelters.
They collected grain-free dog food, canned cat food, pet coats, pet beds and pet toys for the organization called STARelief.
School officials say they hope to continue the event next year.
