Greenwich Avenue was filled with families and Halloween festivities Saturday during the fourth annual Greet & Treat organized by Greenwich Moms.
Organizers say one of their favorite parts about the entire day is seeing the smiles on children's faces and giving them a safe place to trick-or-treat.
"I think for the local moms network, parenthood can be isolating at times," says Layla Lisiewski, CEO of The Local Moms Network.
Lisiewski explains to News 12 the goal of the event is to bring people together and create visibility for moms in the community.
"The reason why we exist is to not only to provide those valuable trustworthy resources but these opportunities where moms can meet each other," says Lisiewski. "They're all going through the same thing and at the end of the day, I don't think we could do this without the community that were in."
There were more than 70 merchants participating on Greenwich Avenue for this year's event and several local food trucks.
