Stamford officials gathered today to break ground for a new school.
Officials say the site on Strawberry Hill Avenue will become a new inter-district magnet school.
Mayor David Martin was joined by staff from Stamford Public Schools, and says this is a great opportunity for the city.
Kindergarten and first grade-students will begin attending the school in the fall.
